Women's Basketball rallies from 30 point deficit, win in overtime | Local Round Up | Sant Cruz Sentinel

Michaela Thornton and Ananiah Chavez had double-doubles to help the Cabrillo College women's basketball team rally from a 30-point deficit and win their Coast Conference South Division game in overtime, 71-65 over De Anza on Wednesday night.

Thornton scored a team-high 24 points and added 10 rebounds and Chavez had 11 points and 14 rebounds. Kenedi Walters scored 16 points for the Seahawks (7-11, 2-2).

The Seahawks outscored the Dons 24-7 in the fourth quarter to knot the score and 10-4 in overtime.
