Playoff-bound Cabrillo women’s volleyball team posts another unbeaten season in conference | Santa Cruz Sentinel

Sophomore outside hitter Ellie Cary had a team-high 23 kills and 11 digs and the No. 7 state-ranked Cabrillo College women's volleyball team finished Coast Conference North Division play unbeaten with a five-set road win over No. 17 San Mateo on Tuesday night.

Cabrillo (21-5, 12-0), under second-year coach Kelsee Montagna, pushed its conference win streak to 120 matches with its 25-15, 19-25, 22-25, 25-11, 16-14 victory over the Bulldogs. The Seahawks have won 13 straight conference titles.

It was just the Seahawks' fifth five-set match this season.

Sophomore setter Kendra Lis had 51 assists, 10 digs and four kills for the Seahawks. Freshman middle Isabella Bush had 15 kills and freshman outside hitter Ashleigh Souza had 13 kills and a team-high 17 digs, and freshman Hailey Naccarato had 16 digs.
