APTOS - Sophomore Gabe Mack, a 6’1” guard from Milwaukee, has been selected as the Featured Seahawk in recognition of his dynamic contributions to the men’s basketball team and athletic department.

A deft scorer who can pick you apart from beyond the arc or drive the lane, Mack has emerged as a key player for coach Marcopulous’s squad as it seeks its 10th Coast Conference South title in 20 years.

Through seven conference games, Mack is averaging 16.9 points, 4.6 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game. The Martin Luther King JR. High School alumni leads the team in average assists and steals per game, and is the second most successful scorer on the roster in conference play.

The “Mack Attack” has produced 15 points or more in 57 percent of conference games while being held to less than 10 points only once in that time.

On January 10th, Mack scored a career-high 32 points on the road against San Jose City College to go along with five rebounds, four steals and two assists.

With just five games left to play in the conference season, the No. 30 ranked Seahawks will need Mack and fellow sophomore Hunter Seymour to deliver down the stretch run.

Three of the remaining five games on the Seahawks schedule will be at home and streamed live on our Facebook page. You can like and follow along HERE.
