Linton Acliese III averaged 28.0 points and 7.0 rebounds during a weekend split by San Francisco State, to earn his first CCAA Player of the Week distinction for Feb. 10-16.
A redshirt junior out of Richmond in his first on-the-court season for the Gators after a transfer from Cabrillo College and medical redshirt a year ago, Acliese shot 65.5 percent (19-29) from the field and 94.4 percent (17-18) from the free-throw line.
During Thursday night's 77-69 home victory over Humboldt State, Acliese led all players with 24 points on 9-of-12 shooting from the floor and 6-of-7 from the stripe, adding four boards and three steals to share the game-high.
