Freshman running back Peyton Hatten made himself a fixture in the end zone, and Cabrillo College's football team shined in all three phases in its 43-7 rout of visiting Gavilan to pick up its first Coast Conference win Saturday.
Hatten ran for 165 yards and four touchdowns on 20 carries to help the Seahawks (4-3, 1-2) snap a three-game losing skid. He has eight rushing touchdowns on the season.
Cabrillo finished with 501 yards on offense (278 rushing and 223 passing), and held the Rams to 224 yards with minus-7 yards rushing.
