Joe Rush III buried a 3-pointer with 10 seconds left and the Cabrillo College men's basketball team edged host Napa Valley 79-78 in nonconference action Monday.

Rush missed a mid-range, pull-up jumper with 16 seconds left, but teammate Austin James grabbed the rebound and kicked it back out to Rush for the winning basket from beyond the arc.

James scored a season-high 33 points for the Seahawks, who won for the sixth time in their past seven games. He finished with seven of the Seahawks' 10 3-pointers and had four rebounds.

Rush finished with 14 points, six rebounds, three steals and two assists after coming off the bench, and Samy Buteau had 12 points and eight rebounds.
