SAN FRANCISCO — Sophomore guard Darius Best scored 18 points, and the No. 7/8 seed Cabrillo College men's basketball team upset No. 2 San Francisco 81-80 in the one of four NorCal Regional championships on Saturday night.

With the win, the Seahawks (25-5) advance to the California Community College Athletic Association Men's Basketball Championship at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut on Friday through Sunday.

The Rams, the Coast Conference North Division champion and one of the state's top programs, won their fifth state title in 2022.
