In one of the most lopsided results in school history, the Cabrillo College men's soccer team routed host Monterey Peninsula 16-0 in the teams' Coast Conference South Division match Tuesday.
It was the Seahawks' largest single-game offensive output according to records on file at cccaa.org, which date back to 2011, if not the largest in program history.
It was Cabrillo's first time scoring 10 goals in a match since beating Chabot 10-3 on Nov. 13, 2015.
Eric Vazquez, Jael Leal, Maxence Huin and Tanner Ruddy each scored two goals for Cabrillo, which led 7-0 at the half.
