At West Valley 3, Cabrillo 2: The No. 15 state-ranked Seahawks saw their two-goal lead evaporate in the second half of their Coast Conference crossover loss Friday.

Jose Meza scored a natural hat trick over the final 23 minutes to lift the Vikings (3-3-2, 1-2-1).

Zachary Beardsley gave the Seahawks the lead in the 15th minute, and Matteo Carazza made it 2-0 with his tally in the 57th minute.

Goalie Mateus Ruiz Hurst made five saves for the Seahawks, and Grant Jackson made three saves for the Vikings.

Cabrillo (6-3-2, 2-1-1) hosts De Anza (5-1-4, 3-0-1) in a conference crossover match Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
