APTOS — Much like Cabrillo College's football team – albeit for vastly different reasons – the Seahawks' men's water polo team is back from a lengthy hiatus this season.
After seeing their 2020 season wiped out by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Seahawks couldn't scrape together enough players to put a team in the pool in 2021.
Cabrillo coach Josh Thomas managed to assemble one for this year, though – and while he's unsure how his team will stack up against the rest of the Coast Conference South following a three-year absence, he feels he's got the building blocks in place to be competitive.
