APTOS – Cabrillo College baseball coach Bob Kittle believes his 2022 squad is among the most talented he's ever assembled.

He's got good reason to think so: The Seahawks have two sophomores who signed with NCAA Division I schools after excelling at local high schools – third baseman Javier Felix, who signed with San Diego State out of Santa Cruz High, and center fielder Jack Bollengier, who went to Sacramento State after starring at Aptos. The 'Hawks also boast the Coast Conference's reigning Most Valuable Player in shortstop Anthony Karagiannopoulos and several other players back from last season's 19-7 team.

Yet despite the impressive talent on Cabrillo's roster, the Seahawks are just 3-8 after beating Feather River on Friday.
