At Fresno City 7, Cabrillo 6; 11 inn.: Kawana Soares was 3 for 5 with two RBI and a run scored in the Seahawks' nonconference loss Tuesday. It's their seventh one-run loss this season.
Kinsal Plunkett had two hits and two runs scored for Cabrillo (5-10), Ryan Mathiesen had two hits and one run scored, and Dominic Giuffre had two hits, a walk and an RBI.
Started Ian Koenig (0-1) gave up one earned run over three innings and took the loss. Noah Galvan (4-0) threw four scoreless innings of relief for the win.
The Seahawks play at Chabot (8-5) on Thursday at 2 p.m.
