Sophomore lineman Matt Flores-Ortiz continues to be a force on defense and special teams for Cabrillo College's football team.

The Watsonville High alum returned an interception 40 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter — his second pick-six of the young season — and blocked a field-goal attempt that led to Matt Percival's 75-yard scoop-and-score in the third quarter to help the Seahawks stay unbeaten with their 39-28 road win at Yuba on Saturday.

Cabrillo moved to 3-0 with the win.

"It's what these kids worked hard for," said Justin Hansen, the Seahawks' second-year head coach. "They've earned the right to say they're undefeated. But they know there's a lot bigger and stronger opponents on te horizon. We've got our work cut out for us, that's for sure."
