Cabrillo College's Tony Marcopulos, the winningest men's basketball coach in program history, has retired.

He ends his career with his 10th Coast Conference South Division title in 20 seasons at the helm. The Seahawks (16-12, 8-4) shared this season's division title with West Valley, but didn't advance to the CCCAA NorCal playoffs.

He'll will continue to teach in the kinesiology department at Cabrillo.

During his tenure, Marcopulos produced a 333-231 record — the highest win total any Seahawks coach — with a win percentage of 59%.

"He's a basketball genius," said assistant James Page, who will take over the program.
