
SACRAMENTO - The CCCAA announced its 2021 Softball All-Conference teams and individual accolades today as chosen by the league's head coaches and three Seahawks had their names called.
Freshman, Center Fielder Lluvia Alvarez was named first team All-conference. The right handed hitting center fielder posted a .286 batting average with an On-Base Plus Slugging Percentage of .807 while 12 hits and 4 RBIs in 42 plate appearances.
Freshman, Pitcher Jilian Mercier named second team All-conference. The Utah native had 24 strikeouts with 56.2 innings pitched. Mercier also had 1 home run and 3 RBIs on the season.
Freshman utility player Hailey-Ann Vollbrecht led the team in at-bats (51), hits (15), and batting average amongst players with at least 30 plate appearances.
The Hawks finished the year 4-16, however the future looks bright as the Seahawks are set to return multiple starters in 2022.
